the greatest {love} of all

As I was thinking today, I was refreshed with the love that God has for me. and you.

  Romans 8 talks about sufferings and glorious freedom and hope and salvation and the aid of the Holy Spirit. I am completely refreshed every time I read this. because God is with us and we cannot be separated from His love.

So enjoy the love of God.

Rachel + Stephen { a wedding }

Yesterday was full of wedding bliss for our family! Stephen and Rachel were simply made for each other and their love spills out into the lives of those around them. About 13 minutes before the ceremony, I snuck into the room where the beautiful Rachel was waiting. Her smile just warmed my heart and her joy spilled over into my life. I couldn't help but be excited.

Jessi and Terri made the danishes above. absolutely delicious.

laughter on a wedding day is a must! Especially when Rachel and Lea Ann are together...

{ inspiration }

Father's Day is now less than a month away and I am thrilled to be filming for the next video. I have always enjoyed (times infinity) videography. I remember one night I was sitting in church and two missionaries from Africa were speaking. At the end of their inspiring presentation they shared a video. That video moved me.

Ever since that time I have wanted to create images and videos that move people. There is nothing like that beautiful lighting in a session that displays God's glory. There is nothing like a sincere moment between two people caught in action. I want to create things that inspire people to know God MORE!

That is what I hope to do with this video. There is nothing that can even compare with knowing God and growing in a relationship with Him. Everything I do and everything I am is for His Glory.

{HAYDEN}

We were FINALLY able to get together to take Hayden's pictures! We were rained out 3 different times and on the day of the shoot it started raining. AGAIN.

do. not. rain.

I felt completely blessed when it didn't rain until after the session. blessed. what a great word.
He blessed with people in his life who care a lot about him. It was so much fun to just watch them interact.

I love this light! and how adorable these two are together!!

I couldn't help but smile when I was editing this image.

HAMANN {family}

The Hamann's are such a joy to be around. Their two children seem to light up their faces with joy and love. I can definitely understand why!

I just love the way that they love each other.

{HOUSE}

Recently, I had the privilege of photographing a Mary Kay Event... in a GORGEOUS house. I have often passed this house and thought, "I would love to take pictures outside of that house..."  Many times I have considered asking the owner if I could, but then I remember that Isaac doesn't really like me going up to strangers and asking them if I can hang out at their house...

So, when I pulled up to this house to photograph some memories, I was beyond excited. Especially when I realized that the inside is even better than the outside.

Portraits: Dr Z + Clayton

I just love Ashley Zolkowski. She called me one day to set up pictures and I could tell that she would be a blast to work with. She is full of energy and love for her family.

During the session we were talking about Clayton's senior session and an idea that Clayton has. I seriously CANNOT wait to make those ideas happen.

Bushey Boys

The Bushey boys came in jerseys and were ready for a good time. We started in an alley that was providing some dewey light and I knew this was going to be an amazing session. I have never met more cooperative and enthusiastic boys. seriously. They were ready and willing to do anything that I asked. The Bushey's know how to raise their boys!
